  Engine 54 Engine 54 is a 2015 Sutphen Guardian Series Pumper manufactured in Amlin, Ohio. Engine 54 is currently the first out Engine used by the City of West Point Fire Department for all fire response. Engine 54 has the seating capacity for 6 firefighters and carries a variety of firefighting equipment and rescue equipment. Engine 54 also carries the “HURST eDRAULIC” extrication tools, used for auto entrapment. Engine 54 carries a 2000 GPM pump and 1200 gallons of water.

Engine51 Engine 51 is a 1997 Pierce Suburban Pumper manufactured by Pierce Manufacturing in Appleton, Wisconsin. The Pierce body is mounted on an International Commercial Chassis.

Engine 51 is currently the first out fire truck used by the City of West Point Fire Department for all fire calls. Engine 51 has the seating capacity for 4 firefighters and carries a variety of firefighting and rescue equipment. A particular note is that Engine 51 carries the “Jaws of Life” rescue tool used for auto entrapment.

Engine 51 is powered by a Navistar 320 hp diesel engine and Allison automatic transmission with a 1500 gpm Waterous pump.


Tower52 Tower 52 is a 2009 Sutphen SPH 100 manufactured by Sutphen Corporation in Amlin, Ohio. Tower 52 is a totally custom built apparatus for the City of West Point Fire Department.

Tower 52 is the only aerial apparatus in our fleet and responds to structure fire calls. Tower 52 has the seating capacity for 6 firefighters and carries a variety of firefighting equipment. A particular note is that Tower 52 has a 100 foot ladder with a platform bucket on the end for both climb and riding up and down.

Tower 52 is powered by a Cummins 500 hp diesel engine and Allison automatic transmission with a 2000 gpm Hale pump.


Engine53 Engine 53 is a 1988 Pierce Dash manufactured by Peirce Manufacturing in Appleton, Wisconsin. Engine 53 is a custom built apparatus built for the City of West Point Fire Department.

Engine 53 is currently our second out fire truck use by the City of West Point Fire Department for fire calls. Engine 53 has the seating capacity for 4 firefighters and carries a variety of firefighting and rescue equipment.

Engine 53 is powered by a Cummings 270 hp diesel engine and Allison automatic transmission with a 1250 gpm Waterous pump.


  M-14 
M-14 is a 2015 McCoy Miller Ambulance, the McCoy Miller custom body is mounted on a Ford F-450 Chassis. M-14 is the West Point Fire Departments first out advanced life support EMS unit with patient transport capabilities. M-14 carries a wide variety of Advanced Life Support equipment used by medics for patient care.


M-15 M-15 is a 2004 McCoy Miller Ambulance manufactured by McCoy Miller in Elkhart Indiana. The McCoy Miller custom body is mounted on an International Commercial Chassis. M-15 is our only EMS unit with the capabilities of patient transport. M-15 carries a wide variety of Advance Life Support (ALS) equipment used by our medics for patient care.

 

  Car 55 Car 55 is a 2022 Kia Sorrento X-Line. Manufactured at the Kia Motor Manufacturing Georgia (KMMG) plant located in West Point, Georgia. Car 55 is assigned to the Fire Chief and carries a limited amount of basic 1st aid supplies.


LibertyII In 2003 the West Point Fire Department commissioned into service a Liberty II Mobile Air unit manufactured by Scott Aviation in Concord North Carolina. This unit has a diesel engine and an electric motor to power an air compressor and filtration system. The compressed and filtered air is used in the firefighters SCBA’s or air systems seen on firefighter’s backs.
