JOB DESCRIPTION Performs duties assigned by supervisor. This position is responsible for the construction, repair and maintenance of the city’s water system. Makes water/sewer taps for new customers. Installs, replaces, and repairs water meters and other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS ● Applicants must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. ●Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen ●Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with completion of specialized training in the field of work, in addition to basic skills typically associated with a high school education. ● Experience sufficient to thoroughly understand the job and to be able to answer questions and resolve problems ● Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid state issued driver’s license for the type of vehicle or equipment operated. ● Possession of or ability to readily obtain an appropriate state-certified license for water or wastewater treatment or distribution as appropriate.
