JOB DESCRIPTION This position is responsible for performing duties associated with the installation, construction, repair, and maintenance of the natural gas distribution system and related components and performing all utility protection functions for all city owned utilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS ● Applicants must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. ●Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen ●Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with completion of specialized training in the field of work, in addition to basic skills typically associated with a high school education. ● Experience sufficient to thoroughly understand the job and to be able to answer questions and resolve problems ● Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid state issued driver’s license for the type of vehicle or equipment operated. ● Knowledge of safety policies and procedures pertaining to the repair and maintenance of natural gas lines, mains, and related services.
