JOB DESCRIPTION This position is responsible for servicing department vehicles and equipment. Maintains gas inventory records for all city vehicles and equipment. Responds to field breakdowns and performs routine maintenance of equipment (i.e. washing, checking fluid levels, and lubricating). Assists any other service and maintenance crews with manual labor tasks as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. Successful candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and possess a current, valid Driver’s License. Knowledge of safety procedures pertaining to ground maintenance. Skilled in operating grounds maintenance tools and equipment. Skilled in the use of such tools as chain saws, jackhammers, pipe cutters, and various hand tools. Must be able and willing to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions and physical surroundings. Applications will be accepted July 20, 226 until August 20, 2026.
