Customer Service
The City of West Point Customer Service Division, located at City Hall in Downtown West Point, is your first stop for a multitude of services. Providing support to customers of West Point power, natural gas, water, or wastewater services, and is responsible for billing, taking payments, and processing new service request. They also administer the city’s business license program and assist with property tax questions.
Forms of payment accepted are cash and check, credit cards and online bill pay is available for a minimal fee. Our friendly staff is available to assist you Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm. There is also a Drop Box(gray mailbox) located outside City Hall in the lower parking lot beside the pavilion available for your checks or money orders that is checked once a day.
How do I set up new utility services?
To apply for new utility service or transfer existing service, please come into the Customer Service Center located in City Hall to fill out an application between the hours of 8:00 and 4:30 Monday-Friday.

The following information is needed to apply for services:
Residential Customers:
- Lease Agreement or proof of ownership
- Photo I.D.
- A $200 deposit is required. ($30 for only water service)
Commercial Customers:
- Lease Agreement or proof of ownership
- Photo I.D.
- A deposit (minimum deposit $250)
- A Certificate of Occupancy
- A knox-box (Mitt Smith)
