Get moving, get involved, and get connected! West Point Recreation Programs provide opportunities for residents of all ages to stay active, have fun, and build lasting friendships. From youth sports to adult fitness and everything in between, there’s something here for everyone.

Miriam Oropeze Ramos will instruct ballet and tap class at the 602 Building @ 602 2nd Avenue for ages 3 – 12 year olds.  Classes are held on Friday afternoons. Classes for 3-6 year olds are from 4:30 to 5:15.  Classes for 7-12 year olds are from 5:15 to 6:00. The cost is $55.00 per month for all ages, which covers 4 classes per month.

YOUTH BASEBALL

Youth Baseball will be conducted at West Point Parks & Recreation Department City Park. Age groups are as follows 4 & 5 Beginner Coed T-Ball, 6 & U Coed T-Ball/Coach Pitch, 7-8 Coach Pitch, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18. Registration fees are $35.00 per child. (age control date September 1)

YOUTH SOFTBALL

Youth Softball will be conducted at West Point Parks and Recreation Department City Park. Age groups will be as follows 6-8 Coach Pitch, 9-10, 11-12, 13-16 Fast Pitch. Registration fees are $35.00 per child. (age control date September 1)

ADULT SOFTBALL

The following leagues will be offered for Men and Women softball. They are Church, Industrial and Open. In order for a participant to be eligible they must be 18 years of age or older. Any teams interested in participation, must come by the Recreation Department Office and fill out a Team Commitment Form. (age control date September 1)

FLEX will be conducted at the 602 Building, 602 2nd Avenue. FLEX: Ages: 18 & Up. The cost is $5.00 per class or $35.00 per month.  Classes meet on Monday’s at 5:30 p.m. and Thursday’s at 5:30 p.m. Flex is a fitness class that will rev your metabolism, crush calories, and get you stronger! Your instructors are Heather & Kenneth Hoats.

Silver Sneakers, Instructor Traci Martin, will teach Chair Yoga on Wednesday and will teach Silver Sneaker’s Classic Workout on Fridays. Both Wednesday and Friday classes are held at 11:15 a.m. at the West point parks & Recreation 602 Building, located at 602 2nd Ave, West Point, Ga 31833. Ages : 18 & Up. Classes are $3.00 per class or at no charge through the Silver Sneakers program.

SOCCER CLINIC

Youth Soccer Clinic will be held at West Point City Park in September. The clinic is open to all of our youth soccer participants.

HOW TO REGISTER ONLINE

  1. Go to http://www.trouprec.org/
  2. On the main website, you will see different tabs. You will click on the tab that says Register Now
  3. You will then need to Create an Account or Log Into you’re already existing account. If you
  4. do not know your password to an already existing account, you may request a password reset. Once you create an account you will not need to do so again. However, we do ask that you update it with new phone numbers, emails, or addresses in the event those do change.
  5. Choose the WEST POINT CATALOG
  6. Look under the West Point Spring Activities or any of the other activities they have to offer from season to season.
  7. Choose the Activity and Age Group you wish to register your child in.
  8. Add that Activity to the cart, follow the prompted questions, and pay online with your debit or credit card.

You can also register in person at West Point Parks & Recreation Office located at 1102 Avenue D, West Point, Georgia 31833 between normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
